We had a strong and successful first day back with our students, and we appreciate the positive start to the new year. We would like to share one update regarding our PBIS procedures. When a student does not meet daily expectations, they will bring home a purple notification sheet. This is not intended as a punitive measure, but rather as a communication tool to help clarify expectations and highlight any areas where additional support may be needed. Please review, sign, and return the sheet to school the following day.

2nd grade families had a fantastic time at their family night. We want to give a huge thank you to Autumn and Brittany from West Virginia Public Broadcasting for leading this STEM night. Students looked at different bridges in West Virginia. Then they got to build their own and test them for strength and stability.

One quick reminder for tomorrow: students participating in the Science Fair must bring their projects to school tomorrow morning. Judging will start shortly after arrival. Well done, Vikings! Our Winter Concert was merry and bright! Thanks to Ms. Stapel, faculty, and of course our families for making the night so special!

We jogged our way into Thanksgiving Break with our annual Turkey Trot! The weather moved us inside, but it felt like sunshine with all of the smiles!
